Crystal Fong Counseling

Welcome — I’m Crystal Fong, a New York–licensed therapist offering virtual psychotherapy for adults and couples. I work with clients who feel overwhelmed, stuck, or disconnected from themselves or others, and who are seeking support that feels grounded, affirming, and collaborative.

I am especially passionate about supporting the Asian community, whose mental health needs are often underrepresented and misunderstood, while also welcoming clients from all backgrounds. Together, we’ll work to help you feel more grounded, seen, and empowered in your life and relationships.

About Me

I’m a Chinese-American psychotherapist who believes healing happens through both mind and body. My background in dance and martial arts taught me how the body holds stress and how movement can support emotional resilience — a perspective I bring to therapy.

I share my life with two dogs, whose presence reminds me daily of connection, regulation, and the power of the human–animal bond. I combine these insights with relational, culturally responsive approaches to help adults and couples feel seen, grounded, and empowered.

I earned my Master’s degree in Counseling for Mental Health and Wellness from New York University and have been working in the mental health field since 2021. Prior to becoming a therapist, I spent nearly a decade in corporate and start-up environments, which gives me a deep understanding of stress, burnout, performance pressure, and life transitions.
